OSI Trail Skills Training – Evergreen

May 16 - May 17

Sharpen your skills before the stewardship season gets into full swing! In this weekend workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from the best in the trail-building business, including OSI Instructors and VOC Crew Leaders who have been building and maintaining trails for decades. Whether you sign up for one or both days, you’ll get to practice, improve, and expand upon your knowledge in trail construction, rock work, drainage structures, and other sustainable trail practices.

This year, rock work skills will be our focus, specifically rock walls and steps as well as construction of switchback turns. We may also have the chance to work on drainage structures and other skills that present themselves during the weekend.

This training is hosted out of the Outdoor stewardship institute with sign up here: https://www.voc.org/project/spring-trail-skills-training-evergreen

If you are a CATS member be sure to state that you are a CATS member in  the sign up and to work with Brandon the billing. CATS will cover all material fees for this training so do not pay training fee.
